Mr. Flavio Olivieri Executive Director of Cali-Baja Association. Digital health executive Flavio Olivieri has been appointed executive director of the Cali-Baja Binational Mega-Region Association, a coalition of businesses and government agencies promoting economic development on both sides of the U.S.-Mexican border. Olivieri is CEO and co-founder of Tuteli Inc., a Tijuana-based startup providing remote monitoring and assistance to senior citizens living independently.

A distinguished attorney and has extensive business development experience. Serves as a Managing Partner for Volt Energy and oversees business development and strategy for the company. B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his J.D. from Emory University. His career has included private law practice and US Senate Watergate. These projects include the food service, real estate, restaurant, financial, and solar industries. early limited partner with The Cheesecake Factory.

Sam is Chief Technologist in Residency at Nano Global and sits on the board of Nexenta. Sam also served as CTO and General Manager of Engineering Solutions at Dell providing solutions, to have strong alliances, develop cross-line of business offerings. He was a CTO at Hewlett-Packard, Candle Corporation and Chief Innovation Officer at Computer Associates. Sam also was an adjunct professor of Computer Science at both Temple University and LaSalle University.

Mr. PAOLA ÁVILA VP, International Business Affairs As Vice President of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce Paola Avila brings nearly 20 years of experience in public policy, community outreach, and government relations. In her current position, Avila focuses on advocacy of domestic and international public policies that enhance economic prosperity through trade, commerce and robust international relationships. EISP 8200 Alumni of Unit 8200, Israel’s elite military technology incubator, have gone on to establish many leading Israeli IT companies. The EISP program was established by graduates of Unit 8200 to mobilize their alumni network to help Israeli entrepreneurs with their start-up ventures, as a way of sharing their success and ‘paying it forward’. 8200 EISP is run as a non-profit organization. To date its 95 entrepreneurs have raised approximately $300M.
