Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference rules and regulations.

By registering or entering the Expo all attendees, exhibitors, participants, vendors, students, faculty, media and guests gives their content and agree to all Expo rules and regulations.

• Badges must be worn at all times on the trade show floor. All Attendees & Exhibitors are required to wear their official show badge and badge holder at all times. Use of a badge by a person not named on the badge is grounds for confiscation, removal, and legal actions . If you lose your badge, please return to Registration to obtain a replacement. All attendees must present a vild ID, students must provide both ID and university issued ID card.

• Attendance is restricted to qualified attendees, students, business attendees ONLY on both days! A qualified business attendee is one who works for or owns a company or companies looking for new products for licensing, manufacture, distribution, import/export, research and development, or selling through catalog/direct response TV/internet shopping channels. Also qualified, are companies or educators involved in technology transfer, members of the media, venture capital companies, investors, product wholesalers, product marketers, and product licensing consultants. All attendees must provide their own personal address or business address. Students may not use the university address as their own, we appreciate your attendance.

• Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference is not open to the general public and reserves the right to deny access to any one. Any illegal misconduct, none permitted conduct, as demonstration, disturbances will be met with removal from expo and will be faced with legal actions.

• In order to confirm your business affiliation as a qualified business attendee at Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference, you must be required to produce a business card with your name and title, company address, email address, and company website, as well as a statement describing your company and your purpose for attending Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference.

• Please Note – These qualifications would need be emailed or sent to Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference prior to your arrival at the show for your registration to be processed. Please submit your documentation or questions by email or by mail: Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference, P.O. Box 1233, La Jolla, CA 92038, Email | IsInExpo@gmail.com  You will receive an email from Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference upon qualification.

• Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference reserves the right to accept or reject registrations and to cancel any previously accepted reservations, at any time, at its sole discretion, without liability to the registrant or any other party. This policy was instituted to maintain the professional environment of the show, while protecting the interests of our attendees and exhibitors.

• There is no fee to attend, as long as attendee qualifications are met and approval is given as a "qualified business attendee”. Exhibiting is not free, an associated cost will provided and must be paid 15 days prior to Expo date.

• NO commercial Photography – Strictly Enforced! Photography or video recording at the show is prohibited except by those with valid media badges or other authorized individuals.

• NO Solicitation allowed, accept for approved vendors.

• NO "Suitcasing" – Suitcasing refers to those companies or persons who go to shows as attendees but "work the aisles" from their suitcase (or briefcase), soliciting business from other attendees and exhibitors. Any attendee who is observed to be soliciting business in the aisles or other public spaces, or in another company's booth, will be asked to leave immediately.

• Attendees and non-exhibiting inventors are not permitted to have inventions on the show floor at any time! Strictly Enforced! This includes prototypes and any documentation for distribution purposes. This applies to anyone who is not a paid exhibitor.

• Show management is NOT responsible for injuries, property damage or loss of any kind, or for any other incidents, directly or indirectly connected with attending the show. Attendees assume all business and personal risk before, during and after the show.

• Show management shall have sole discretion over admission at all times and shall strictly enforce all show rules. Attendees agree to abide by these attendance rules, as well as all other rules applicable to their badge type, which may be updated at any time. Violators risk immediate confiscation of their show badge without refund or warning and removal from the premises. Violators will not be allowed re-entry.

• Alcohol Policy - no alcohol allowed at both expo days.

• Attire - In keeping with the business atmosphere of Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference, all attendees and booth personnel shall wear acceptable business attire – casual or otherwise such as corporate identity uniforms. Attendees should dress in business casual attire. Sturdy, safe shoes should be worn by all individuals.

• Data Collection By registering for the Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference you consent to Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference collection and storage of the data on the registration form.Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference may share collected contact information with authorized vendors, exhibitors and service providers. Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference may share any or all collected data, email addresses or telephone numbers.

• Hold Harmless Policy Any and All Show Attendees and Exhibitors, staff, vendors hereby agree to release and hold harmless Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference and Show Management, its employees, vendors, agents, contractors, Board members and owners from any and all alleged and/or actual liability, claims, actions, lawsuits, damages, or losses, of any kind (“Claim”) which arise out of or result from attendance and at and participation in the event, including but not limited to property damage and personal injuries, whether or not foreseeable.

• Mobile/Cell Phone Policy As a courtesy to the speakers and your fellow attendees, please turn off all mobile phones during meetings and sessions. During the Registration process, you are asked (but not required) for your mobile phone number. This will not only notify you (via text message) of certain programs you are registered for, but will be used in case of emergency during the event. Your mobile number will only be used by Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference to contact you and will be stored in Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference’s database for any further use.

• By entering the Expo and its promises you agrees that all photos, images and other media are the sole and exclusive property of the Expo and its Owners. Expo may use and otherwise alter the images for all purposes and in any manner. All participants irrevocably grants to Expo and its owners the right to use any/all’s image and name in all forms and media including composite or modified representations for all purposes, including advertising, trade or any commercial purpose. All participants waives the right to inspect or approve versions of any and all images, photography, film, recordings used for publication or the written copy that may be used in connection with the images.

• All participants agrees to conduct himself/herself with propriety and dignity, and to do nothing during an event or otherwise that may tend to injure the reputation and goodwill of Expo and its owners and all its participants.

• All participants does hereby release Expo and its owners from any claims that may arise regarding the use of any or all images including any claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of moral rights, rights of publicity or copyright. Expo and its owners are permitted, although not obligated, to include participants’s name as a credit in connection with the image, photography, film, recordings and any other forms of media.

• No Smoking Policy Expo is a nonsmoking facility. Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Expo except in designated outside smoking areas.

• No Pets policy Pets are not allowed at the Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference. The only exception is for service animals with the proper permits and documentation. Please contact Show Management with questions.

• Security The Expo is patrolled by uniformed and plainclothes public safety staff. Access to meeting rooms and exhibit areas is by proper badge only. For your safety and convenience, please obey their rules and the hosting facility rules.

• Your participation in the Expo means that you agree to comply with NO-Weapons Policy.You further understand and agree that, for your own safety and the safety of everyone at the Expo, Expo Security and its employees, agents has the absolute and immediate right to inspect your belongings, possessions, body and any other item you bring to the Event. We may temporarily or permanently remove any attendee at any time for violating this Weapons Policy — because your safety, and every attendee’s safety, is so important. You MUST not bring any and all weapons, or any and all items that might resumable weapons or might used as a weapon.

• Expo Security and its employees, agents will be informing law enforcements agencies, police and related parties.

• Conflict Avoidance Policy – Cal-Israel Innovation Expo & Conference strives to keep the trade show atmosphere free from direct or indirect conflict at all times. For that reason, the service of legal documents on the premises of the trade show has been prohibited.
