Mr. Kevin L. Faulconer became the 36th mayor of San Diego on March 3, 2014, on a campaign message of bringing San Diego together and restoring integrity to City Hall. Shortly after taking office, Mayor Faulconer began implementing his vision for "One San Diego," a unified city with an inclusive city government that creates opportunities for San Diegans and delivers results for every neighborhood.

Mr. SIEGEL assumed the post of Consul General of Israel in Los Angeles in August 2011, where he serves as the senior representative of the State of Israel to the Southwestern United States. Most recently, Mr. Siegel served as Chief of Staff to Israel's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. In this role, he was involved in policy formulation and decision-making at the senior levels of Israel's foreign policy establishment. Previously, Mr. Siegel served two terms at the Embassy of Israel in DC.

Dean Roberts is the founding dean of the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering at the University of San Diego (USD). He assumed his duties in July of 2013. During his first few years as dean at USD, Dr. Roberts led a team to develop a new general engineering degree that will house concentrations in sustainability, embedded software engineering, and bioengineering. Yair Vardi, Director of Academic Affairs, Consulate General of Israel, Los Angeles

Gavin is a principal engineer in Corporate Research at Qualcomm leading the network architecture and security design for 5G. Gavin has over 15 years’ experience in communications and holds over 100 patents related to cellular technologies. Gavin has contributed to many areas of 4G design including the femto cells, relay, WLAN interworking and traffic offload features. Prior to Qualcomm, Gavin worked in video compression and reliable content delivery. He received a PhD in electrical engineering.

Howard Singer is a Medical Device Industry Expert with 40 years of industry experience. He founded and led the IBM Medical Device Industry Consulting Practice for 15 years. Glenn Johnson, Senior Vice President, Magic Software. Glenn Johnson is a Senior Vice President at Magic Software Americas. Anis Bishara is an Application Engineer at ICS^2 where he develops cybersecurity software for critical infrastructure. Before this, he helped developed advanced Industrial Control Systems to control solar-thermal power plants including Ivanpah, where we was the plant's first solar-side operator. Anis holds an M.Sc. in Applied Physics, B.Sc. in Computer Engineering and Applied Physics, and an M.B.A. from the Hebrew University.

In college, he was the vice chair of the Student Union and founded three business. One was a students-teaching-students social enterprise. Another, called SeatApp, lets restaurant customers order and pay from their smartphone at their seats. The third company, which developed currency options alto-trading software.

Venkat Shastri is Professor of Practice at the Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering in the University of San Diego, CA. Until September 2015, he was Chief Industry Advisor of PCN Technology, Inc., a role he assumed in December 2013. In the preceding eight years, as President and CEO, he grew PCN into a market leader in communication, industrial networking and energy management solutions. Venkat was VP of Engineering between 2002 – 2004 at Palomar Technologies, a packaging equipment.
